This is surely an exciting month alright, with so many new devices on their way like the Samsung Galaxy Note II that will be launched tomorrow, iPad mini rumored to be announced this month, and now, Asus is jumping on the bandwagon too with a Padfone 2 announcement. An invitation for 16 October 2012 was leaked last month and it looks like it’s true alright, Asus just made an official announcement that there will indeed be a Padfone 2 event on 16 October 2012 at 11am Milan time (UTC +2) and if you want to get the first hand information, Asus’ site is where you need to be at 5pm local time on the said date.
