For the past 9 years, Urbanscapes has been at the forefront of the Malaysian creative scene and in it’s milestone 10th year, Malaysia’s leading creative arts festival is coming back with a bang. Spanning over an entire weekend (Sat 24th & Sun 25th), Padang Astaka will play host to local indie sweetheart and overseas phenomenon Yuna, Icelandic post-rock sensations Sigur Ros as well as the talented street artist behind many of the creative murals in Penang, Ernest Zacharevic.
Of course no Urbanscapes is complete without the lineup of stellar local talent. From the musings of the raising the bar community, headed by Jin Hackman to the rising stars in the local circuit, the Impatient Sister to regulars on the decks around town, LapSap x Mini Comp and Twilight ActionGirl there is something for everyone at Urbanscapes!
