CES 2012: Casio Brings 3D to the Next Level

I remember the first time I looked at 3D photos, sure it was years ago and 3D wasn’t as advanced as it is now, but it made me so dizzy my flight back home was a horrendous one. You don’t have to become dizzy to look at glasses-free 3D photos anymore because Casio can make 3D photos three-dimensional, like literally.

Alright so maybe it’s not really 3D photos per say, it’s more of a 3D sculpture. The company showed off at CES its ability to convert 2D photos to 3D and literally make it pop out of the page. Nothing’s been mention regarding how this works; Casio is just showing off its 3D sculptures at its CES booth which seems like not much people are interested in.

Hey I know it’s dorky and all, but at least you won’t get a headache looking at these “pictures” and they’re viewable from all angles. I’m not quite sure about giving you a heart attack though especially with the image above, maybe if they used a Puss in Boots image, it would be less awkward than a scary kitten. Would you want to get your photos converted into a 3D sculpture like that?
