You know when you watch America’s Next Top Model (of course by YOU i meant your gf/sister/mother), at the “makeover stage” there is always one girl who is unlucky enough to get her luscious flowing manes chopped off, sparking a 10 minute tirade about how life is unfair and how her hair was her life? Photographer Geh Chee Minh will be doing just that, not the tantrum of course, but shaving his head bald after keeping his hair long for 10 year all in the name of charity. Chee Minh’s charity of choice is the Cancer Research Initiative Foundation (CARIF), a Malaysian NPO that finds better ways to improve survival of cancer through search, education and care. His goal is to raise RM15,000 and as of the time of writing, he is very nearly there!
The head shaving comes In addition to his upcoming adventure in India where he and 2 friends from Singapore intend to traverse the 3,500km breadth of India in nothing but a TukTuk in hopes to raise funds for FRANK Water, a charity that funds clean water projects in India. Lowyat.NET is in full support of the guys and will be cheering them on during their harrowing 1 month journey!
