Dr Mohamed Sulaiman Sultan Suhaibuddeen, head of ICT, Melaka State Government added:
“We see open source as the way of the future. There is a lack of skilled resources and awareness for open source technology. We understand the benefits from using open source that can be realized to help meet the unique challenges that governments face when addressing the need to get on the cloud, so our aim is to equip our staff and the future workforce with the necessary knowledge and skill set.”
