With Netflix’s official arrival in Malaysia, iflix has amped up its game with the announcement of its collaboration with local telecommunication company, Digi. Digi customers will be getting 12 months worth of access to iflix for free, and all they need to do are a few simple steps.
Digi is currently having a promotion for its prepaid customers, where they get 8% value bonus when they reload their airtime credit. However, there are a few catches to the reload bonus promotion.
Over the weekend, Digi launched its first “People’s Tower” in Setia Alam after the conclusion of its recent campaign called “You Tweet, We Build”. The campaign was organised on Twitter, where users would tweet the location they wanted Digi to set up its 4G LTE tower; complete with the hashtag #DigiWeWant4G.

Other than the announcement of its 4G LTE coverage now being wider than Maxis, Digi has also announced that it has made LTE-A available to its customers. Other than that, the company added that VoLTE and VoWiFi will be making its way to customers in 2016.
Digi has announced that starting today, Apple Music is covered by the company’s Music Freedom service. This gives music lovers who are subscribed to Digi, another music streaming app to choose from from the already long list of music apps available out there.
Digi is currently offering two devices – the Honor 6 and Meizu MX4 for RM499 off-contract. That’s almost half the price of the original retail price, so of course, there is a catch.
