While it was announced to the world back in October 2012 but it is only today that the new Beats by Dr. Dre Pill Wireless Speaker have finally received its official launch here in Malaysia. Frankly said, this is really a tiny speaker at the height of only 45.72mm and really light too at 310g.
Equipped with Bluetooth connectivity, Beats Pill is designed for both audio playback and phone calls. To deliver both functionality, the speaker is built with four audio drivers and built-in microphone which the company has enhanced with Beats audio profiles and echo cancellation.
In addition to its wireless capability with distance of up to 30 feet away, Beats Pill also supports audio input via its 3.5mm line-in port as well as external speaker system through the 3.5mm line-out port. Since it is designed to be portable, Beats Pill also comes with a rechargeable (via USB) lithium-ion battery that is able to provide up to 7 hours of continues playback.
