The iQOO 15 officially debuted in China last month. Now, the vivo sub-brand has confirmed that it is bringing the smartphone to our shores soon, although it did not specify a launch date yet.

In terms of specifications, the iQOO 15 features a Samsung 2K M14 AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, 2,600 nits global brightness, as well as a peak brightness of 6,000 nits. The device also features an under-display fingerprint scanner, plus IP68 and IP69 ratings.

Under the hood, the phone is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, paired with the company’s Q3 gaming chip. In China, the iQOO 15 comes with either 12GB or 16GB of RAM. Meanwhile, storage ranges from 256GB to 1TB of storage. That said, all the options may not be available here.

As vivo is rolling out OriginOS globally, the international version of the iQOO 15 will be running on Android 16-based OriginOS 6, much like its Chinese counterpart. Other features include a 7,000mAh battery with support for 100W wired and 40W wireless charging. However, it is unclear whether this will change for the model headed our way.

For imaging, the phone sports a triple camera setup. This consists of a 50MP 1/1.56-inch Sony IMX921 primary shooter, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with up to 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultra-wide camera. The front is equipped with a 32MP selfie snapper.

iQOO 15As mentioned earlier, a local launch date has yet to be confirmed, although the brand has revealed that the phone is already certified by SIRIM. Other than that, iQOO mentioned that the gaming smartphone will make its debut sometime in December.
