iCAUR Malaysia has previewed its second model for the local market, V23 off-road EV SUV, following the recent launch of the iCAUR 03 early last month. The V23 initially made its official appearance at the Malaysia Auto Show (MAS 2025) and will be offered in two variants locally: a rear-wheel-drive (2WD) and an intelligent all-wheel-drive (iWD).

Design wise, the V23 seems to be inspired from models such as the Ford Bronco and Toyota Land Cruiser as it features a bold and upright design with a boxy profile. The front fascia is dominated by large circular LED headlights integrated with horizontal light bars.  At the rear, the V23 continues its angular and robust styling with vertical taillights and a rear-mounted tailgate storage box.

Other features include 19-inch wheels on the 2WD variant and 21-inch wheels on the iWD variant. In terms of dimension, the V23 measures 4,220 mm in length, 1,915 mm in width, and 1,845 mm in height, with a 2,735 mm wheelbase, which is bigger than the iCAUR 03.

Inside, the upcoming EV features retro-inspired design cues such as rotary knobs on the centre console and a high-roof design that provides exceptional headroom and outward visibility. The cabin is equipped with an infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, and a full-HD 540-degree Transparent Chassis Camera.

Performance-wise, the 2WD variant is equipped with a single rear-axle motor producing 136 PS and 180 Nm of torque, paired with a 59.9 kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery. It offers a CLTC-rated range of 401 km and completes the century sprint in 11 seconds.

Meanwhile, the iWD variant houses a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup, delivering a combined output of 211 PS and 292 Nm of torque, powered by an 81.8 kWh ternary lithium (NMC) battery. This version accelerates from 0–100 km/h in 7.5 seconds and provides a CLTC range of 501 km.

As for safety, the all-electric SUV is equipped with a comprehensive Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS). Key features include adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning, and autonomous emergency braking, ensuring a safer and more confident driving experience.
