When the Galaxy Buds 3 series of earphones were first released, they were closely compared to the Apple AirPods Pro 2, save for their triangular-looking stem. It appears that remarks like that may have irked Samsung somewhat because, based on leaks, the company is currently redesigning its flagship TWS.
Earlier in the year, Android Authority claimed that it had uncovered the model numbers for the Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro, thanks to a firmware leak via a One UI 8.5 build. Now, the publication recently reported that it has found a new icon for the alleged in-ear series in the same One UI build.

As per the leak, the upcoming Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro may potentially feature a tweaked stem position, bending it to point forward at a 45-degree angle. Not only that, they could feature a “rounded or even flat” stem design. The icon also hints at the continued adoption of in-ear tips similar to this generation.
Android Authority claims that the upcoming flagship TWS may feature improved audio playback, noise cancellation, and battery life. The news outlet also said that the AI-powered features could also see some improvements.
It is worth noting that we are still a ways away from the release of any Samsung in-ears, so this information is subject to change. Like always, these are just rumours and nothing is truly confirmed until the tech giant comes out and says otherwise.
