Leapmotor Malaysia has shared a teaser on its social media platforms, hinting at the upcoming debut of a new model in the local market. Based on the silhouette revealed, the model appears to be the B10 EV SUV, which is the automaker’s third global model after the C10 and T03.

The model was recently launched in Thailand, and is offered in three varaints; Life, Style, and On the outside, the B10 features a sleek design with a full-width slim LED light bar, split headlights, and matching LED taillights. It also sports hidden door handles, a roof spoiler and 18-inch alloy wheels.

Inside, it offers a 14.6-inch 2.5K floating infotainment display and an 8.8-inch digital driver’s cluster, both supporting OTA updates, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. The Life and Style variants feature fabric seats, while the Design variant gets ECO leather upholstery. Other highlights include ambient lighting, ventilated seats, a panoramic roof, foldable cup holders, and up to 1,300 litres of boot space plus a 25-litre frunk.

All variants are powered by a single motor producing 160 kW and 240 Nm of torque, with a top speed of 170 km/h. The Life variant uses a 56.2 kWh battery offering 442 km (NEDC) range, while the Style and Design variants get a 67.1 kWh battery for 516 km (NEDC) range.

Fuelling speculation, the B10 was recently spotted on Malaysian roads, suggesting that the launch of the electric crossover SUV could be sooner than expected.  A camouflaged model of the EV SUV was spotted parked outside of a Benelli Best Shop outlet in Nilai.

All that being said, the teaser itself is completely devoid of information, save the silhouette and the claim that it’s “coming soon”. We’ll have to wait for Leapmotor to provide more information as we approach the launch, whenever that may be.
