Acer Malaysia today has launched the new Nitro V 16S gaming laptop, an ultra-slim model available in four different variants. The lineup combines Intel or AMD processors with NVIDIA RTX graphics, offering portable gaming performance in a 14mm-thin chassis.
The Nitro V 16S can be configured with either Intel Core 7 or Core 5 processors paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 graphics, or AMD Ryzen 7 or Ryzen 5 processors paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5050 graphics. All models feature up to 115W Max Graphics Power to ensure solid performance across gaming and multitasking. Storage options include up to 1TB PCIe Gen4 NVMe SSD, alongside 16GB DDR5 RAM (upgradeable to 32GB).
On the display front, the laptop comes with a 16-inch panel available in two resolutions: WUXGA (1920 × 1200) or WQXGA (2560 × 1600). Both options offer a 16:10 aspect ratio, 180Hz refresh rate, 100% sRGB colour coverage, and a 3ms response time.
Connectivity includes Killer Wi-Fi 6 or Wi-Fi 6E depending on the model, Killer Ethernet E2600, and Bluetooth 5.2 or 5.3 support. The laptop also offers a wide range of ports: one USB Type-C with USB4 support (including DisplayPort, charging, and DC-in), three USB-A ports (two Gen 2 and one Gen 1, with power-off charging on one), HDMI 2.1, microSD reader, 3.5mm audio jack, RJ-45 Ethernet, and a DC-in jack.
Additionally, the Nitro V 16S also carries DTS:X Ultra Audio with Hi-Res certification and Acer PurifiedVoice for clearer calls and gaming chats. A 720p HD webcam with temporal noise reduction is also included for video conferencing and streaming.
Despite its slim profile, the laptop’s metal chassis houses a dual-fan cooling system with quad intakes and exhausts to manage heat efficiently. It also comes with a 4-zone RGB keyboard, allowing users to customise lighting to their preferences.
The Nitro V 16S is available now in Malaysia starting from RM4,999. Acer adds that purchases made before 13 October 2025 will include a complimentary Logitech G304 Lightspeed wireless mouse worth RM129, while stocks last. The laptop can be found at the Acer eStore, official Shopee store, as well as authorised resellers nationwide.
