SoloEra, the subsidiary brand of Blueshark, has unveiled its first fully electric motorbike, the Solo 1C. As part of a special introductory campaign, the bike is available for pre-order at a promotional price of RM599, limited to the first 500 customers. This exclusive offer runs from 15 July until 16 September 2025, or while stocks last.

Originally retailing at RM2,999, the final cost of the Solo 1C is significantly reduced to RM2,400 under the government’s Electric Motorcycle Use Promotion Scheme (MARiiCAS). This is likely due to the bike being locally assembled (CKD), therefore qualifying it for the incentive.

However, this special price comes with specific terms and conditions. To be eligible, a customer must be a Mesra Rewards or Setel member, and they must also apply and be approved under the MARiiCAS 2WEV rebate scheme. In addition, buyers must possess at least a valid B2 motorcycle licence, be Malaysian citizens aged 18 or above, and pass a background check conducted by Blueshark.

The RM599 price does not include other mandatory charges such as the administration fee, JPJ registration fee, number plate installation, and insurance coverage. Also, the cost does not include the bike’s battery or connectivity services, which are required for usage.

Customers will need to pay a one-time deposit of RM278, which covers the bike’s charger, battery, and connectivity module, along with the first month’s battery rental. After that, a monthly battery rental fee of RM59 and a connectivity charge of RM10 will apply for a duration of 60 months.

As for the Solo 1C itself, the bike features an electric motor producing 2kW and is powered by a 1.97kWh battery. It has a top speed of 75km/h and an NDEC range of 101km, while charging is done through direct charge or battery swapping. Additionally, it comes with four riding modes, including the ability to reverse.
