The XPeng G6 was spotted at Glenmarie (which is where XPeng Malaysia is headquartered) yesterday, camouflaged. The spy shot was shared by Fareez Azhar on the paultan.org Automotive/Car Discussion Group Facebook page.
The pre-facelift G6 launched in Malaysia in August 2024, so it wouldn’t be unreasonable to expect XPeng Malaysia to be preparing this facelift for arrival. In China, the car is offered in three variants priced at RMB176,800 (~RM105k), RMB186,800 (~RM111k), and RMB198,800 (~RM118k).

The facelifted XPeng G6 sports a refreshed exterior, highlighted by a full-width LED strip that replaces the previous segmented setup. It also comes with a blacked-out trapezoidal lower grille. At the rear, a redesigned bumper and ducktail spoiler add a sporty finish to the SUV. Finally, the petal-style black alloy wheels complete the look.
Inside, the updated cabin features a 15.6-inch floating infotainment screen alongside a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster. Comfort upgrades include ventilated, heated, and massaging front seats. The centre console now offers a wireless charging pad and more storage.

The facelifted XPeng G6 runs on a single electric motor producing 218 kW and 480 Nm of torque. All of this power is sent to the rear wheels of the car. As for the battery, it has two options across the three variants. The first two come with a 68.5 kWh battery offering a CLTC range of 625 km, while the other has an 80.8 kWh battery offering a CLTC range of 725 km.
Furthermore, the XPeng G6 is built on an 800-volt platform. The automaker highlights its new “5C ultra-fast charging AI battery,” aimed at delivering faster charging. It can charge from 10–80% in just 20 minutes. The standout upgrade is the addition of the AI-powered Turing intelligent driving system, designed to enhance autonomous driving.

As of now, there is no information on when the XPeng G6 is coming to Malaysia or what the local specifications will be. However, it seems like the answers to these questions will be known soon.
