Alongside the 15S Pro smartphone, Xiaomi has also unveiled the Pad 7 Ultra in China. Not only is it the brand’s largest tablet to date, but it’s also the second device to feature the brand’s in-house Xring O1 chip.
The Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra comes with a massive 14” OLED panel with 3,200 x 2,136px resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1,600 nits, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The panel also supports 12-bit colours, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision. There’s also the option to have nano-texture glass, which helps reduce reflectivity.
The Pad 7 Ultra is 5.1mm in thickness and weighs in at 609g, while its build consists of aluminum alloy with reinforcement ribs. Other external features include a fingerprint sensor that’s built into the power button on its side, and a magnetic charging point for an optional stylus. Audio-wise, the tablet offers a total of eight Dolby Atmos supported speakers that’s made up of bass and tweeter pairs.
Under the hood of the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra is the aforementioned Xring O1 chipset, along with up to 16GB LPDDR5T RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.1 storage. Additionally, it has HyperOS 2, a massive 12,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging, a USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type C port, as well as Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4 and NFC connectivity, and even an IR blaster.

Imaging-wise, the Pad 7 Ultra comes with a lone 50MP camera on its back. In front, housed within a notch on its display, is a 32MP snapper.
Much like the 15S Pro, it appears that the Xiaomi Pad 7 Ultra is currently exclusive to the Chinese market. The 12GB + 256GB configuration is priced at CNY5,699 (~RM3,382), the 12GB + 512GB at CNY5,999 (~RM3,560), and the 16GB + 1TB at CNY6,799 (~RM4,035). It should be noted that only the latter two are offered with the nano-texture glass option which was mentioned earlier.
