Huawei has announced the debut of its brand new lineup of wearables made up of the Watch Fit 4 series as well as the Watch 5. This time around, the former gets a Pro model while the latter only gets one model.
The Watch Fit 4 lineup both come with 1.82-inch rectangular AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 2000 nits for the vanilla version and 3000 nits for the Pro. For health and fitness, the series gets a new a new air pressure sensor, expanded water sports tracking, dual-satellite GPS navigation, and sleep breathing awareness, while the Pro exclusively gets an advanced Golf Course Mode as well as an ECG sensor.

For durability, both watches come with an IP6x rating for dust resistance and a 5ATM rating for water resistance, with a Diving Mode for the Pro. As for build quality, the vanilla model only gets an aluminium case whereas the Pro is equipped with a titanium case along with a sapphire glass display cover.

Both models are advertised with seven days of battery life or up to 10 days with some features disabled. When AOD is turned on, it can only last up to four days.
On the other hand, there is the Watch 5 for everyday-wear, which replaces the two-year-old Watch 4. Offered in 42mm and 46m sizes, the premium wearable sports an LTPO 2.0 AMOLED screen with a peak brightness of 3000 nits. The case is made out of stainless steel for most of the variants except for the purple and silver 46mm options, which get an upgraded titanium case.

With its X-Tap technology, you can tap the module on the side to quickly get ECG and PPG health readings. It also supports touch-free smart gestures similar to what we have seen from Apple, which lets you manage calls, control music, and more.
Battery-wise, the brand claims that the 42mm variant can last five days with typical usage while the larger version gets a longer seven-day battery life. On the durability side, the smartwatch gets an IP69 and 5ATM ratings.
Both the Huawei Watch Fit 4 series and the Watch 5 will be launching in Malaysia on 22 May 2025. Ahead of this event, you can pay an early deposit through the company’s website for the upcoming devices to get rebates and free gifts with your purchases.
