OPPO has officially launched the Reno13 series, its latest line of mid-range smartphones made up of a vanilla and a Pro model. The lineup succeeds the Reno12 series, offering a more powerful chipset and a significantly improved battery capacity.
For starters, the Reno13 Pro sports a larger 6.83-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Under the hood, both phone runs on a MediaTek Dimensity 8350, which is a customised Dimensity 8300, along with the brand’s in-house X1 chip for wireless connectivity. Speaking of which, the two mid-rangers support 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, and NFC.

On the photography side, the Pro gets a 50MP primary sensor with OIS alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens, a 50MP front snapper, and a better 50MP telephoto lens with OIS and 3.5x optical zoom. Powering it is a 5,800mAh battery with support for 80W wired charging and the addition of 50W wireless charging.

As for the vanilla Reno13, it actually gets a smaller screen size compared to its predecessor, with a 6.59-inch 1080p AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Both models are equipped with an under-display fingerprint sensor as well as an IP68 and IP69 rating for dust and water resistance. Additionally, the series ships with ColorOS 15 based on Android 15.

Imaging-wise, it features a similar setup as the previous model with the same 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP selfie shooter, but the telephoto lens from the Reno12 in China has been removed from its successor. Backing the phone is a 5,600mAh battery with support for 80W charging.
The Reno13 gets a starting price of CNY2,699 (~RM1,664) while the Pro costs CNY3,399 (~RM2,096) for the base trim. As of now, it is unknown when the series will hit the Malaysian market.
