OnePlus Malaysia has announced that it will be launching two phones next week, or more specifically, on 14 July. The two phones are the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G and the Nord CE 2 Lite 5G. The company has shared a snippet of what we can expect from both phones when they launch next week, but the OnePlus global website has mostly given us a clear look as to what both devices will be packing.
Starting with the OnePlus Nord 2T 5G, we’re looking at a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and a 6.43-inch Full HD AMOLED display with 90Hz refresh rate. It also comes with a 4500mAh battery which supports 80W charging. For its RAM and storage options, the company lists two options for both – 8GB and 12GB for the former, and 128GB and 256GB for the latter. But for now, it’s unclear if all four possible configuration combinations are making their way here.
For its cameras, the Nord 2T 5G sports a 50MP main shooter, an 8MP wide angle camera, and a 2MP macro lens. In front, it has a 32MP camera.
Moving on to the OnePlus CE 2 Lite, we’re looking at a device with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G chipset and a 6.59-inch Full HD display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Beyond that, it has 6GB of RAM, 128GB of storage space, and a 5000mAh battery with support for 33W charging. Like the Nord 2T, the Nord CE 2 Lite also comes with a triple camera setup at the back, featuring a 64MP main camera, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro lens. For its front-facing camera, it has a 16MP shooter instead.
For now, the prices of both devices have not yet been revealed. Naturally, this is something that OnePlus Malaysia wants to keep close to its chest. We’ll have to wait for the launch on 14 July to find out.
