A month has passed since Samsung unveiled Galaxy Z Flip3 & Galaxy Z Fold3 at the Galaxy Unpacked August event and the company is now finally ready to release its new foldables into Malaysia. While pre-order for both devices has been going on for a while, Samsung has set the general release date for Galaxy Z Fold3 and Z Flip3 in Malaysia as 22 September.
In case you missed the news, here is the price list for Galaxy Z Flip3 and Z Fold3:
Galaxy Z Flip3 128GB: RM3,999
Galaxy Z Flip3 256GB: RM4,199
Galaxy Z Fold3 256GB: RM6,699
Galaxy Z Fold3 512GB: RM7,099
Since the general rollout will only take place on 22 September, this means the pre-order deal that Samsung Malaysia has offered since 19 August will continue to be valid until 21 September. As per what we mentioned in our previous report, pre-order customers of Galaxy Z Flip3 will receive Samsung e-Store voucher worth RM 600 while those who choose Galaxy Z Fold3, will get a voucher worth RM 850.
These customers will also be provided with Samsung Care+ 1-year plan for their new foldables. However, the pre-order units for Z Fold3 have already been sold out but those that are interested to get their hands on the device can register their interest first by 21 September in order to still be eligible for the offer.
Starting from 22 September, the freebies will then come in the form of a Samsung e-Store voucher worth RM 350 for Z Flip3 and RM 500 for Z Fold3. Available until 31 October, customers will continue to receive the 1-year Samsung Care+ package as well.
In addition to that, they are also eligible for a 30% discount on selected accessories in which they can redeem until the end of November. For more details, do keep a look out for further updates on Samsung Malaysia’s official website.
