Local cinema chain, MBO Cinemas recently have announced that it has implemented social distance directly into the seating of its movie halls. This was done as part of the company’s effort to combat the spread of COVID-19 as social distance is one of basic preventive measures that have been frequently highlighted by health professionals and authorities throughout the world including UN’s World Health Organization.
Effective since yesterday, the new arrangement involves the implementation of a gap between every one or two seats. There is also a gap between each row and this new arrangement have also been reflected on MBO Cinemas booking system on its website as well as Android and iOS app.
For those forever alones movie goers that want to purchase single seats, they shouldn’t face any problem doing so through MBO Cinemas website or Android app. For iOS users though, the company still working on allowing single seat purchase through iOS app and if they need such seats, they have to purchase manually at the cinema location itself.
