About a month ago, the Realme 5 and Realme 5 Pro were announced in India. It looks like the phones will be making their way to Malaysia very soon. Realme Malaysia has just sent out media invitations to the phones’ local launch event.
A key feature of both phones are their rear quad-camera setup. They both feature an 8MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP portrait camera and a 2MP macro shooter. As for the main cameras, the Realme 5 Pro comes with a 48MP camera, while the one on the Realme 5 is a 12MP unit.
Beyond their cameras, the Realme 5 Pro comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 chipset, and a 4035mAh battery. On the other hand, the Realme 5 has a slightly larger 6.5-inch HD+ display, a Qualcomm Snapdraon 665 chipset, and a 5000mAh battery.
Both phones were previously announced to come in three RAM and storage configurations. For now, we don’t yet know which ones will make their way to our shores, and the price for each one. We’ll have to wait for 3 October to find out.
