Looks like Tune Talk is not the only telco is giving away free data today as Celcom is also on board the same idea as well. However, the latter is doing it for a different reason altogether.
For Celcom, it is giving away the free data to celebrate Hari Malaysia. Available for both Celcom and Xpax postpaid customers, they can now redeem the free 1GB of data through Celcom Life app:
While the offer is only valid until 11:59 PM tonight, the free data itself is valid for 24 hours from the time of redemption. As for Celcom Xpax prepaid customers, they can also redeem free 1-hour Ultra Hour Pass through the same app in which they will receive an hour of unlimited Internet:
