During the company’s Mi 9 launch live stream today, Xiaomi Malaysia has also announced the availability of the 20W Mi High Speed Wireless Charger Set. What made the set slightly different than a stand-alone Mi Wireless Charger is the additional contents that have been included with the set.
Specifically, the 20W Mi High Speed Wireless Charger Set will feature not only the charger itself but also a QC4+ 27W power adapter which is the maximum output rating that can be supported by Mi 9. As a comparison, the standard adapter that is included with Mi 9 maxed out at 18W.
Since the Mi Wireless Charger is designed to meet the Qi wireless charging standard, this means that it can also be used for non-Xiaomi devices as long as they support the same standard. Of course, the exact power output that they able to receive depends on the respective devices themselves.
The new 20W Mi High Speed Wireless Charger Set will be available in Malaysia starting from 13 April onwards for RM 129. Keep a look for its appearance on Lazada as well as Mi Stores throughout the country on the said date.
