ASUS Malaysia has recently kicked off a promotion in conjunction with the upcoming Chinese New Year for selected NVIDIA GeForce graphics card models. Among them include GeForce RTX 2060 cards which we have covered here before as well as GeForce GTX 1060 and GTX 1050 Ti.
Out of them all, it is interesting to note that the GeForce GTX 1060 cards somehow more discounts than other cards on the list. With savings of up to RM 360 over their original price tags, here is the list:
ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1060 6GB Gaming Advanced Edition: RM 1039 (SRP: RM 1399)
Strix GTX 1060 6GB DirectCU II OC Edition (shown below): RM 999 (SRP: RM 1279)
Dual GeForce GTX 1060 6GB OC Edition: RM 869 (SRP: RM 1199)
How about the GTX 1050 Ti cards that we mentioned earlier? Well, the savings that customers will receive through the promo is only RM 91, as shown in this list:
Cerberus GTX 1050 Ti 4GB OC Edition: RM 718 (SRP: RM 809)
Phoenix GTX 1050 Ti 4GB: RM 678 (SRP: RM 769)
It is hard not to notice the huge differences in terms of discounts that are being offered by ASUS between its GTX 1060 and GTX 1050 Ti cards. We don’t know if recent rumors regarding the GTX 1660/GTX 1660 Ti/GTX 1160 have anything to do with it but one can only imagine.
