Thunderobot is not exactly a household name, but the brand of gaming laptops is set for an official launch in Malaysia later this month. There’s little known about the laptops themselves, but SIRIM is listing quite a number of designs registered by distributor ECS.

The Thunderobot Dino and 911GT have already been teased on the company Facebook page, and we have also spotted the the 911SE and ST Plus on the SIRIM database. Which indicates that there are at least four models confirmed for the Malaysian market.

For the most part, the Thunderobot gaming laptops feature Intel Core processors and Nvidia based graphics cards. From our understanding, these will likely be closed to entry and mid-range gaming laptops. There’s doesn’t appear to be any particular model sporting an Nvidia GTX GeForce 1080 from what we can tell of the laptops sold in other countries.

Little information is available about the company itself. Particularly surrounding whether it makes its own laptops, or if they happen to simply rebadge existing models. There should be more information after we grill Thunderobot at the launch.
