Intel’s recently launched lineup of Coffee Lake desktop processors are now available here in Malaysia. The availability of these processors were spotted on ETECH PC’s store on Lelong.my and Compuzone’s Facebook page. It’s worth noting, however, at the time of writing, only four Coffee Lake desktop SKUs are available in Malaysia – Intel launched six Coffee Lake CPUs.
When it comes to pricing, the most affordable Intel Coffee Lake CPU that’s currently available in Malaysia is the Core i3-8100, which is priced at RM509. Next up is the Core i3-8350K processor that features an unlocked multiplier. This CPU comes with a modest price tag of RM765. Besides that, the Intel Core i5-8400 has also been made available in Malaysia for a price of RM809.
Interestingly, the most powerful Coffee Lake CPU, Intel Core i7-8700K, is also available for purchase locally. This Intel processor has recently been endowed with numerous positive reviews, especially in terms of gaming. The Core i7-8700K is currently priced at RM1,599. Do keep in mind that the prices for the aforementioned Coffee Lake desktop CPUs are based on ETECH PC’s listing. Other major retailers in Malaysia have not listed their respective pricing for these CPUs.
As mentioned in our previous article, Intel Coffee Lake CPUs may face scarce availability in 2017. This means that stock may be limited in the coming months. If you’re interested in purchasing a Coffee Lake CPU, it’s best to act fast before they run out.
