Most of us are already using WhatsApp to stay in contact with our friends, family, and even coworkers, but it looks like WhatsApp wish to include businesses into the loop too. The company recently announced that they are testing new tools to make it easier for people to communicate with businesses they want to reach.
There are people who are using WhatsApp for business purposes right now like placing an order with a bakery, or looking at new styles from clothing stores. However, no thanks to the many scams that we read on the news all the time, many people are afraid that the business might not be authentic. In the coming months, WhatsApp wish to solve such issues with new tools like verified accounts and more.
The company is working on two different tools – a free WhatsApp Business app for small companies, and an enterprise solution for bigger companies like airlines, banks, and such. This will allow businesses to update their customers on things like flight times, delivery confirmations, and more.
WhatsApp did not provide full details on how things would work, but it already sounds like a very handy tool, especially for small business owners.
