Finally! Telltale Games has announced a second season for its popular The Wolf Among Us game. The game developer mentioned that The Wolf Among Us 2 will be released sometime in the second half of 2018. The original game was first debuted back in 2014, and has since been bombarded with positive reviews from many gamers.
For those who don’t know, The Wolf Among Us is an episodic “point and click” game, which tells the story of a detective named Bigby Wolf. The game is set in a somewhat messed up fairytale world based on the award winning Fables comic series. The Wolf Among Us Season 1 consisted of five episodes, and is currently available on all major gaming platforms as well as mobile devices.
That aside, Telltale has mentioned that “this new season will begin a fresh story arc for its returning cast of characters, featuring the return of Adam Harrington as Bigby Wolf and Erin Yvette as Snow White.” Despite this, the game developer has also stated that The Wolf Among Us Season 2 will be a standalone project that is different from the first season.
Announced together with The Wolf Among Us 2 are other Telltale titles like the final season of its Walking Dead series as well as a new Batman series called “The Enemy Within” – the later game’s first episode will be made available soon on 8 August 2017.
