At the Malaysian launch of the honor 8, the company also announced the local availability of the new affordable smartphone, the honor 5A.
Designed to replace the honor 4X in the market, the new honor 5A is powered by a Kirin 620 octa core processor paired with 2GB of RAM, and features a 5.5-inch 720p display, 13MP rear and 8MP front cameras, a 3,100mAh battery, 16GB of storage with microSD card slot (up to 128GB), and FDD and TD-LTE.
In China, the honor 5A retails for 699 Yuan (about RM425). But for the Malaysian market, the honor 5A will be sold at RM599 for the Black and White colour options, while the special Gold variant will retail for RM629.
The honor 5A will be available for purchase from 20 September at vmall.my.
