The State Government of Selangor together with Mineski Events Teams and Big Machinez today has officially announced Selangor Cyber Games International 2016 that will take place from 9 to 11 September at One City in USJ 25, Subang Jaya. With total cash prizes of around RM 350,000 up for grabs, the event is consisted of eight tournaments that involved seven titles.
Each of these tournament has its own amount of cash prizes, as shown below:
– Mineski Pro Gaming League Southeast Asian Dota 2 Championship: USD 50,000 (about RM 199,503)
– League of Legends Cup: USD 15,000 (about RM 59,850)
– Dota 2 Cup: RM 20,000
– Counter Strike Global Offensive Cup: RM 20,000
– FIFA 16 Cup: RM 20,000
– Hearthstone Cup: RM 10,000
– Ultra Street Fighter V Cup: RM 10,000
– Clash Royale Cup: RM 10,000
While most of the titles above will take place at the OneCity itself in September, the qualifiers for Mineski Pro Gaming League has actually started in July. This is due to the fact that this particular tournament is open not only to Malaysians but also teams from throughout Southeast Asia and China.
Meanwhile, registration for Selangor Cyber Games International 2016 already opened right now through its official website. Do take note there is registration fee involved, so do read through the rules and regulations for each tournaments within event for specific details.
