Earlier this week, we were made aware that the Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV will be making its way to Malaysia next month. Not long after that though, it seems that the screening of the movie in Malaysia might be in jeopardy after the movie was removed from the listings on Golden Screen Cinemas and GSC Movies websites.

Now, all movie goers, Final Fantasy fans and gamers alike that have become restless due to yesterday’s news should be able to feel much more relieved as GSC Movies is still committed to bring Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV movie to Malaysia. This was confirmed through a response to our e-mail this morning:

We encountered some technical errors with the movie pages. The movie has always been planned to release in Malaysia. You can view the movie page here.

KINGSGLAIVE: FINAL FANTASY XV is scheduled to release on 11 Aug.

Despite being shown as part of GSC International Screens category, Kingsglaive will have a wider release footprint than a typical International Screens movie since it will be screened at selected GSC outside of Klang Valley as well:

GSC Cinemas Kingsglaive: Final Fantasy XV Screening

However, the actual screening duration for the the movie at GSC depends on its box office performance. Hence, do catch Kingsglaive as soon as it comes out at these GSC theatres or else, you might have to wait till 30 September to catch it again via Final Fantasy XV Deluxe and Ultimate Collector’s Edition for PlayStation 4.
