TEDxKL will return for the seventh year running on 8 August 2015 at the Putra Indoor Stadium, Bukit Jalil. This year sees notable personalities like Afdlin Shauki, Datuk Ramli Ibrahim, and Prof. Adrian Cheok. As usual, there is no telling what these people will be talk about, but it is sure to be inspiring and eye-opening.
This year’s theme of “Infinity and Beyond” shows TEDxKL’s goal of being a platform for putting forward visionary thinking and limitless possibilities. The full lineup of speakers has not yet been revealed, but the known talks show an eclectic group that covers everything from the arts to computer science.
As is the usual, TEDx events are independent talks not directly associated with TED but follow the same format and vision. These are usually short presentations from the guest speakers who are selected because of their ability to be both interesting and expose the public to new ideas.

Note: The ticketing information and official Facebook page for TEDxKL is currently listed as taking place in the Calvary Convention Centre, Bukit Jalil. However, we have confirmed with the organisers that it is indeed taking place in the Putra Indoor Stadium instead. The confusion is likely to have come from an earlier decision by the Stadium Malaysia Corporation to close down the venue for renovation work. The date of the closure has been moved, and TEDxKL is able to host the event as originally planned.
