It is day one of Major All Stars right here in Stadium Malawati, Shah Alam and we have arrived early to let you guys get a glimpse of what’s going on. Players will be greeted with the Major All Stars entrance, which leads into the registration counters. Once registration is done, fans can head on in to the lobby area and get involved in lots of activities from the get-go.
Logitech is displaying their gaming series peripherals while LG is showing off their latest wide-screen monitors. There will also be photo walls where fans can take photos with the cosplayers or even their friends to show that they are at the biggest Dota 2 tournament in the region. MyTeksi has a RM5 redemption for fans who want to take a ride with them; while TwtDota are having a lucky draw. Right in the centre of the lobby area, fans can find the Secret Shop selling some microplushes, Dota 2 T-shirts. The new Na’Vi hoodies were also spotted. Unfortunately, pricing and availability of the hoodie will only be revealed later in the evening.
After fans are done exploring the lobby area, they can head on in to the main stage area and get to their seats. The Logitech Player Lounge is right in the centre of the event floor, and this is where the players will be sitting while waiting for their matches. More importantly, this is also the area where fans can get to talk to the teams (if they are up for it).
Due to the small entrance and limited registration counters, many fans were stuck in a long line outside in the sun, resulting in a delay of the day’s first match – Na’ Vi against Invasion. Despite this, the tournament is already underway.
