The Major All Stars Dota 2 Tournament is happening very soon and Fallout Gaming has released the official team bracket pairings, just to tease the fans a little more on what’s to come. All eight teams have been arranged and paired in the upper bracket before the showdown for the USD$100,000 (about RM367,782) prize pool begins.
The eight teams who will be battling it out at Stadium Malawati will be Team Empire, Invictus Gaming, Natus Vincere, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Can’t Say Wips, RAVE, Invasion and Redemption. As the tournament draws closer, the upper bracket has been formed and matches will be played in a best of three series. In round one, team Empire will go up against team Redemption. Na’Vi faces off against team Invasion, iG with CSW and NiP take on RAVE.
All is not lost for the losing teams after Round 1. As this is a double elimination tournament, the losers will simply drop to the loser bracket and battle among themselves for a spot in the grand finals.
