Phillips now has its own online store to purchase its products. Blip.My is the result of an alliance between Philips Malaysia and Xtrategize, a local strategic consulting and technology firm. The website is designed to exclusively sell Philips products and will see the electrical appliances giant handling the merchandise whereas Xtrategize will handle the development and management of the Blip.My store.
The online store will carry the same range of products as its brick and mortar stores throughout the country, ranging from coffee machines, fridges, microwaves, air purifiers and vacuum cleaners. Blip.My promises to employ the latest technology when it comes to website features such as mobile payments, click-through purchases on other customer-oriented initiatives that were implemented by the Xtrategize team. Product pages will also be complemented by information such as product overview, features, videos and user reviews.
Although the website was soft launched back in August, the website has recorded 20,000 hits and 15,000 unique visitors to date along with 300 registered accounts with sales valued at RM30,000. Both Philips Malaysia and Xtrategize hope to achieve 15,000 to 20,000 account registrations along with total sales value of RM 7 Million to RM 10 Million by the end of 2015.
