Ever heard of a smartphone brand called Cilipadi? Don’t blame yourself if you never heard of the brand before because truth to be told, we never heard of it either. Then again, that is not the point that we would like to highlight here.
What more important here is that the company’s smartphone – Cilipadi Infiniti HD-8 – is now being offered at Tesco Stores through Malaysia for only RM 99 instead of its usual price tag of RM 299.
In terms of specifications, the Infiniti HD-8 is equipped with 4.5-inch 854×480 display together with a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 quad-core processor, 512MB RAM, and 4GB internal storage. Comes standard with Android Jelly Bean 4.1.2, it also features a 5-megapixels fixed focus rear camera and a VGA front-camera. Additionally, the Infiniti HD-8 also features dual-SIM dual standby capability and carries a 1500mAh battery.
A quick look through the company’s Facebook page shown that the Infinite HD-8 was most probably released sometime in 2013 which pretty much explains the aging hardware within the device. With that RM 99 price tag though, it most probably would attract buyers that value the phone for its exceptionally low price point.
