Lowyat.NET E-Sports Dota 2 Team, Champions of the Asian Gaming League #3
Fans of the TI3 3rd place heroes Orange eSports were keen to see their team (sans a China based Mushi) in action under their new banner Titan this weekend at the AGL #3 DoTA 2 tournament where RM5,000 was on the line for the champions. Little did they know, a dark horse representing Lowyat.NET E-Sports would rain on their first local tournament appearance by beating them 2-0.
The Asian Gaming League #3 saw 32 teams including Invasion.MUFC, Duskbin, Nara’s Stack competing for RM10,000 worth of prizes.
The team played incredibly well, taking the grand finals in straight games 2-0 with some interesting Morphling Play in Game 1 as well as Alchemist domination in the second to take home RM5,000 and peripherals from Razer. Lowyat.NET E-Sports Chaos Online Team also managed to come out tops, winning RM2,000 for their efforts!
