In case you didn’t noticed, the demo for Gran Tursimo 6 – in the form of GT Academy 2013 – has recently landed on PlayStation Network for all PlayStation 3 speed demons to test it out. Now, there is even more reason to give it a try if you have not get your hands on it yet as Sony Computer Entertainment Hong Kong which handles PlayStation matter in our region has just announced a mini competition specifically for the demo.
From 29 July to 27 August, SCEH will be on the look for the fastest drivers on GT Academy 2013 in all countries under their wing including Malaysia. The top driver will then be rewarded with RM 400 worth of credit for PlayStation Network. On top of that, all participants regardless of their position in the ranking will also have the opportunity to win 90-day PS Plus membership through lucky draw. Furthermore, there are five of these PS Plus membership up for grabs for each country.
While this competition is nowhere near what SCE people did in Europe and US in which GT Academy 2013 actually serves as an entry point for their real-life GT Academy program, this is definitely better than nothing.
