Barely a year after the original Angry Birds Star Wars was launched into the market, the people at Rovio has now officially reveal the new Angry Birds Star Wars II. Scheduled to be out on 19 September, the sequel will be filled with new stories, levels, characters and powers as one can expect.
Gamers are also able to play the game as either side of the factions but the biggest new feature of the Angry Birds Star Wars II is the support for Telepods figurines made by Hasbro. Works in tandem with the camera on one’s device, a player is able to transfer the physical Telepods figurines into the game and use them during gameplay.
Apparently, more than 30 figures will be made available when the game is launched to the market this September. Here’s a teaser of what the new Angry Birds Star Wars II has to offer to loyal fans out there:
Meanwhile, Rovio has declined to comment whether Jar Jar Binks will actually be featured in this game or else. We all know how that goes…
