In a move that similar to what the company did to Surface RT last month, Microsoft apparently have reduced the price of Surface Pro here in Malaysia starting immediately. Instead of RM 2749, the Windows 8 Pro tablet now starts at RM 2449 for the 64GB version.
At the same time, the 128GB variant also received similar RM 300 reduction in price from RM 3049 to RM 2749. However, users still need to purchase Touch or Type Cover separately as either of the covers are still not bundled together with Surface Pro.
