With over one billion downloads since its inception in 2009, Angry Birds have taken over the world by storm, making it a worldwide phenomenon. It is only natural, then, that it made the natural jump from smart devices like smartphones and tablets into TVs. Wait, what?
Samsung Malaysia has recently announced the availability of the Angry Birds app for their SMART TV range. What’s interesting to note is that Samsung SMART TV’s Motion Control technology allows for motion gestures by the user to control the gameplay features, such as initiating the slingshot and activating the unique skills of each bird.
In addition, Samsung will also be offering Video on Demand Angry Birds animations developed by Rovio after the app’s launch, and will be available exclusively on Samsung SMART TVs initially.
The award-winning Samsung SMART TV, launched here back in April, has three features called SMART Interaction, SMART Content and SMART Evolution that enables users to access plenty of unique services and features that redefine the television experience.
