ImageChristmas came and Christmas has gone and many people are returning to work and slowly trickling back to where they were a week ago. Its totally understandable that things might be a little slow around the office as the holiday mood is still fresh in the air as the new year looms around the corner. Apparently it is the same for our wonderful internet connection as well.

The forums are filled with complaints about why they cannot connect to their favourite Instant Messengers or their beloved MMORPG's whilst some people complain that they cannot visit certain websites. It has come to our knowledge that our international link is down, again, causing many of us not to be able to connect to various sites.

Updates: Earthquake off Taiwan has damaged six submarine cables affecting the internet in Asia. Several countries such as Singapore, Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea are affected by three earthquakes which damaged the international link to countries such as the US. Our connection has been routed through various countries and it is rather congested at the moment. A quick jump to the TM Net's newsroom clearly shows that things are looking rather peculiar because the latest update was dated August. Of course, if we do head over to Jaring's press corner, you would see a press announcement about the outage already up to inform their customers about the interruption of service.  Do not fret, you are not the only one affected by this outage. I am sure services will return back to normal soon.

i wouldnt call that tmnet's newsroom. it has no news, just marketing announcements. load of tm crappola. someone create a game where you get to lynch and hang mobs in the form of tm management team. i'd be the first to buy the non-pirated version.
