Shortly after Verizon Wireless released the “There’s a map for that” advertisement (video above), saying that they have 5x more 3G coverage compared to AT&T, AT&T decided to sue Verizon for false advertisement. They say that the ad from Verizon mislead people into thinking that AT&T does not provide any service at all outside the blue 3G zones indicated on the maps. Verizon reacted by removing the phrase “out of touch” and adding “Voice and data services available outside 3G areas” as a small disclaimer, however, AT&T wasn’t pleased.
This is not putting Verizon to a halt though, hit the jump for the new ads from Verizon this holiday season!
