When you buy a product from Sony, you already know before hand that you're assured of one thing, and that's style. So it only seems natural that the recent launch of Sony's latest range of Vaio notebooks - the CS Series - came with an equally stylish launch.
Held at Sunway Lagoon, the launch was a whole day affair that was opened exclusively to members of the media and selected members of the public who registered for the guest list online. Activities throughout the day included a treasure hunt and a beauty pageant of sorts.
However, it was definitely the launch of the Vaio CS itself that stole the limelight - as you can probably tell from the pictures.
Speaking of the Vaio CS, here's an except from the press release:

Sony Malaysia expands its VAIO series notebook with the latest VAIO CS series
The new VAIO CS series Selangor, 29th November 2008 – Sony Malaysia expands its range of trendy, eye-catching notebook computers with the unveiling of the new VAIO CS series today and throws the biggest launch party of the year with the theme “VAIO Wave Party” at Sunway Lagoon Surf Beach. The VAIO CS Launch was dotted with enthusiastic young people who came for the colourful Wave Party plus a lot of fun activities throughout the day at the park. Also there were the VIP guests including Mr. Naoi Sudo, Managing Director of Sony Malaysia, En. Norhizam Kadir, Marketing Manager for Intel Electronics Malaysia, and Mr. Hendry Yuen from Sunway Board of Directors.
A series of energy-packed activities were put up at the VAIO CS Launch Wave Party for participants. To name a few, there will be a VAIO Hunt – a treasure hunt around Sunway Lagoon with cash vouchers and Sony products to be won; 8 station games for participants to play and collect stamps in exchange for a special gift; and VAIO Babe and Hunk Search where participants get the opportunity to stride their stuffs in a bit to win the crown for Sony prizes. In the evening, the participants will be gathered at the stage to witness the launch of VAIO CS and later enjoy the VAIO Wave Party in full swing. The party will end with a dazzling fireworks display.
