Popular BitTorrent music sharing site OiNK's Pink Palace has been shut down by a joint Dutch and British police operation in a raid coordinated by Interpol.  News reports also claim the operator behind the site, a 24 year old Englishman has been arrested.  Servers for OiNK which were based in Amsterdam were also seized by police.

While news reports claim that OiNK's was renowned for being the place to leak albums before it is officially released., this is disputed.  Reports also cite that OiNK has about 180,000 members.  In the music sharing community, OiNK has a reputation for being the site to go for FLAC (free lossless audio codec) files and membership was by invitation only.
