Don't you just hate it when an anti virus notification pops up while you're in the middle of a heated gaming session? We sure do, which is why we're all too happy to see Norton Anti Virus 2009 Gaming Edition finally hit the stands.

Featuring the same powerful, lightning fast and resource friendly engine as Norton Anti Virus 2009, the Gaming Edition promises to keep you fully protected without all the pesky system lags, unexpected "scheduled scannings", and irritating pop-ups.

Providing industry-leading protection from viruses, spyware, worms, Trojans, keyloggers, bots and infected websites, Norton Anti Virus 2009 Gaming Edition installs in under a minute, uses less than 6MB memory, adds less than 1 second to boot time and averages scans in less than 35 seconds.

The current German and European Champion in Warcraft III, Daniel 'XlorD' Spenst, commented: "The userinterface of Norton AntiVirus 2009 Gaming Edition is really optimized for us Gamers. Fully automatic switching into Gamer Mode provides us with a perfect balance between performance and security."

Norton Anti Virus 2009 Gaming Edition is available for purchase now and retails for RM129 (single PC license) which includes a one-year service subscription to use the product and receive Symantec’s protection updates.

However, Symantec is offering consumers Norton AntiVirus 2009 Gaming Edition at a special introductory price of RM79.00 for a one PC license from now till 27 February 2009.

Hi KT,

I am Libby from Text 100, the PR agency for Symantec Norton, Malaysia. In regards to your question, the promotional price of RM79 (normal SRP : RM129) is only available at retail outlets in Malaysia for a limited time period only, which is until Feb 27, 2009.

The RM116.00 is if you buy/ download it through the Symantec website.

Hope this helps! Anything you can contact us at 03-2282 2152. Cheers!
