You must be wondering what the heck is Ovi. Ovi, which means "gate" or "door" in Finnish, is actually Nokia's new Internet services brand which marks the companys shift from purely focusing on mobile devices to offering a range of Internet services. Mobile devices will still play a huge part of Nokia's business but with the introduction of OVI, Nokia is looking into offering an overall mobile experience to their users.
Among the OVI services that have been lauchend in the recent Nokia Go Play inlcude Nokia's N-Gage gaming services as well as their new Nokia Music store. Also under the umbrella of OVI would be Nokia Maps, navigation service that offers maps, city guides and more directly
to compatible mobile devices. Nokia aims to bring more Internet based
