Nokia launched the latest of its N series mobile at an event held at KL Hilton yesterday night. The new N series compromised of the N96, N85 and the N79.
The N96 is Nokia's latest flagship N series mobile convergence device. It blends phone and multimedia options seamlessly with the famous Nseries dual slider. Like wise it features some of the most cutting-edge technology including Live DVB-H TV, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, voice navigation GPS, 16GB of internal memory, N-Gage gaming capability and a bright 2.8" LCD display.
It even features a unique 'kickstand' on the back cover for hands free viewing of Live TV or videos. The built-in camera can capture video at 30 fps and is luminated by dual LED Flash. 802.11b/g WIFI and HSDPA connectivity are also built-in.
The N85 is packaged as the ultimate entertainment mobile device. It also feature the famous Nseries dual slider but is more smaller and sleeker. However it still packs an impressive array of features including 2.6" OLED screen, 5 megapixel camera with Carl Zeiss optics, geotagging capabilities, HSDPA, 802.11b/g connectivity and Dual LED flash.
Not only does it support N-Gage games, it even comes pre-loaded with 10 N-Gage gaming titles. It even has dedicated gaming keys that light up when the device is in landscape gaming mode. The built-in memory is only 74MB, however each unit comes with a 8GB microSD memory card.

One of the more stylish N series to date, the N79 combines form and
function in a small candy bar package. Perfect for the style conscious,
the N79 comes with Xpress-OnTM smart covers that includes themes that
automatically changes to match whenever the cover is changed. They are
available in five colours: Light Sea Blue, Espresso Brown, Olive Green,
White and Coral Red and each N79 will come with a combination of 3
covers.
Similar to its siblings, the N79 features the same 5 megapixel
camera with Carl Zeiss optics and dual LED flash, HSDPA and 802.11n b/g
connectivity, GPS, 50MB internal memory with 4GB microSD included
N-Gage gaming capability and 2.4" LED panel.
All three devices runs on the latest version of Symbian OS, the S60 and has TV-out support. The N96 will be
available from the 2nd week of September onwards with a retail price of
RM3,338 while the price and availability of the N85 and N79 will be known later this year.
