Hitachi Sales (Malaysia) Sdn Berhad, the marketing arm of Hitachi consumer electrical products launches its two hybrid camcorders-- what they claim to be the first of its kind in the world -- along with its new range of DVD Camcorders.

The two new camcorders combines both DVD and HDD integrated 8GB hard disk drive, that can record up to six hours worth of footage so you can be rest assured those unforgettable moments with your loved ones will never be missed out.

"As the worldwide leader and pioneer of DVD camcorders, Hitachi is making a definitive mark in the evolution of camcorders," said Hidenori Zen, Managing Director, Hitachi Sales Malaysia.

Developed by Hitachi Global Storage Technology, the 8 GB HDD with an impact damper protector ensures high reliability. The one button dubbing feature makes it easy to copy to any DVD directly from the HDD Camcorder without the need for a computer or any other device saving you loads of time so you can go on recording away without any hassle. It also allows you to travel light during vacations as you do not need to lug around your laptop just so you need to copy your footages. Seamless recording at your fingertips.

If you're tired of viewing blurry images of your wedding video or your vacations then the processing large scale integration (LSI) would be a prefect solution that ensures high resolution with natural colour reproduction enabling conversion to MPEG2. With an optical zoom process, images remain vivid and of high quality up to 30 times zoom and 1,500 times high magnification zoom. Shaky images are kept at a minimum with the electronic image stabilisation function that stabilizes the recorded image by varying the optical path to the sensor which allows better picture quality.

This new range of camcorders allows users to select any frame from movies and turn it into still digital photos. Users can simply save the photo to a secure digital (SD) card, as well as print or share it with friends and family.
