Kingston Technology has just started shipping its 1333 and 1066MHz DDR3 ValueRAM server modules in system specific memory validated by Intel for use on its latest server platform, the new Nehalem-based Xeon processor.
“Kingston’s DDR3 registered ECC DIMMs as well as DDR3 unbuffered ECC DIMMs incorporate with thermal sensor that is utilized on some platforms to monitor the memory modules’ temperature and allows the platform to better manage thermal parameters for more reliable operation,” said Ann Bai, Product Manager of Memory Module, APAC Region, Kingston.
